Bangalore to Nagpur via Hyderabad is a 4-lane and is in great shape.

If you have two drivers on board, you can easily do it in a single day.

Nagpur to Allahabad can be done in a single day. Roads are not that great compared to Bangalore-Nagpur stretch but nothing alarming.

2-Days plan.

Day-1

1.Start at 4am in Bangalore.

2.Have a break fast break at Ananthapur/Kurnool.

3.Lunch at Jadcharla,Drive-in dhaba.

4.Take ORR and hit Nagpur highway(you can completely avoid Hyderabad traffic)

5.You will reach Nagpur before 10PM.

PS: If you have time you can cover Kuntala waterfalls at Adilabad which is en-route.

Day-2

1.Start at 6am from Nagpur.

2. You can find plenty of road side dhabas (but don't expect any luxury)

3.Reach Allahabad by 9PM.

Route:

Bangalore --> Kurnool --> Hyderabad --> Nagpur -->Dhuma --> Katni --> Allahabad

Its really great to hear about the details on Road side.

Allahabad to Bangalore - 2009

Bangalore to Allahabad -2012 ( September & November - to & fro)

Details - Bangalore to Allahabad - 2 days journey with family and kids.

1- Started 5.30am from Bangalore and reached Hyderabad by 12:30. Lunch and 45 minutes break.

2- Started from Hyderabad by 2 and reached Nagpur by 8.30pm.

3- Started from Nagpur by 7am and reached Maihar by 8pm. ( I must say extremely bad expierence after Jabalpur to Katni road) it had eaten up whole time which had saved during my 150 speed. also, it has been the reason of night halt at Maihar which is 3 hour journey for Alld. finally we reached and now I am in hunt to hear if any development over Jabalpur - Katni road.

Regards,

Sudheer

I have done multiple trips from Bangalore to Faizabad.

First time I followed this route 2014

Day 1 Bangalore Nagpur - very good mostly, bit lot of bad roads after Hyderabad.

Day 2 Nagpur Allahabad - Horrible. Stay away.

Day 3 Allahabad Faizabad - not good

2015

Bangalore Mumbai - very good

Ahmedabad Jaipur - very good but some broken stretches near Udaipur

Jaipur Delhi Good

Delhi Rishikesh Not so good

Rishikesh Lucknow Ok with many broken stretches

Licknow Faizabad Good

2017

Bangalore Hyderabad -Excellant Can be done in 5 hours

Hyderabad Nagpur Very good. Most broken stretches repaired except for some short distances Reached by 7 PM

Nagpur Jhansi Lucknow Faizabad -Very good. Avoid NH7 from Nagpur and take SH547 via Chhindwara and touch directly at Narsinghpur save 2 hours. From there on a this smooth sailing though few bad stretches after Jhansi

Hyderabad to Hamsaladeevi Beach - A hidden Paradise

After a long wait for the December trip, we kick started our vacation to the most beautiful Hamsaladeevi beach located in the Krishna district, Andhra Pradesh.

Usually many of them skip this place due to lack of accommodation, but you will find a decent stay in Vijayawada which is around 80 kms approximately from Hamsaladeevi. It is definitely worth travelling so far to see the beauty of this Sagara Sangamam, where river Krishna meets the Bay of Bengal.

We started at an early hour from Hyderabad and reached Vijayawada by 10 AM and checked into the OYO hotel. There are no food joints available at Hamsaladeevi beach so we packed the lunch from the hotel and headed out. Vijayawada to Hamsaladeevi drive took us 3 hours with some breaks.

Hamsaladeevi village is 24 kms away from Avanigadda and we reached Hamsaladeevi by 3 PM. After a long drive from Hyderabad, there was an adrenaline rush gushing out to see this most beautiful place and couldn't wait to snap the sandy beach and the 'river-beach' meeting point. This point is 2 km away from the beach (From Hamsaladeevi village, beach is 4 kms) and we drove our car on the beach side shore to the port to see the confluence.

      Distance : 376 km
      Ride: Honda City
      Fuel : Petrol
      Mileage : 15 kmpl
Hotel : OYO rooms (2000/- per night)

      Best Route 2016
      Hyderabad --> Suryapet --> Vijayawada -->Pedapulipaka --> Madduru --> Thotlavalluru --> Nimmagadda --> Avanigadda --> Nagayalanka --> Chodavaram --> Hamsaladeevi Beach

Note: Don't take any diversions from the mentioned route else you might end up between bad conditioned roads and longer distances as you pass
