Hi @sahil,

I am doing this Rajasthan road trip in the 3rd n 4th weeks of October during the Dussera break.

I am visiting Lucknow on some personal work and will reach Jaipur on 19th and that's from where my road trip starts.

I am planning to take the following circuit,

Jaipur - Bikaner - Jaisalmer - Jodhpur - Ajmer - Ranthambore - Jaipur. (Skipping Udaipur due to lack of time)

Staying in all the above places for a night each except for 3 nights at Jaisalmer and 2 nights at Jaipur.

Hey @sahil,

We have booked 2 places for 3 nights in Jaisalmer for our trip next month..

We have booked the Shiv Tara resort in Sam sand dunes for a night and Helsinki hotel for the other 2 nights in Jaisalmer... Both the hotels were well rated with decent reviews :)

We have booked the Heritage resort for a night at Bikaner.. It seemed to us like an old fort and wanted to experience it and hence we booked this place :)

Since I have cancelled Udaipur from my itinerary, I have not booked any hotel at Udaipur.. Hence I would suggest to you 'The Fern residency' and Udai Median as 2 good options for your comfortable stay :)

Hey @ksa171983, It wouldn't be possible to do it in 4 days :O .. But, You can stick to Jaipur and Jaisalmer. That way it would be possible :)  2 nights in Jaisalmer and 2 nights in Jaipur..

17th Evening flight to Jaipur from Hyderabad and a bus to Jaisalmer...

18th Jaisalmer Local and stay at Sam sand dunes..

19th Jaisalmer local and overnight bus to Jaipur.

20th and 21st Jaipur local (2 night stays in Jaipur)

22nd Fly back to Hyderabad from Jaipur.

This could be a possible plan :)

I am planning to rent the car from Zoom Cars as that's the only available option as per my itinerary :(

Hyderabad to Hamsaladeevi Beach - A hidden Paradise

After a long wait for the December trip, we kick started our vacation to the most beautiful Hamsaladeevi beach located in the Krishna district, Andhra Pradesh.

Usually many of them skip this place due to lack of accommodation, but you will find a decent stay in Vijayawada which is around 80 kms approximately from Hamsaladeevi. It is definitely worth travelling so far to see the beauty of this Sagara Sangamam, where river Krishna meets the Bay of Bengal.

We started at an early hour from Hyderabad and reached Vijayawada by 10 AM and checked into the OYO hotel. There are no food joints available at Hamsaladeevi beach so we packed the lunch from the hotel and headed out. Vijayawada to Hamsaladeevi drive took us 3 hours with some breaks.

Hamsaladeevi village is 24 kms away from Avanigadda and we reached Hamsaladeevi by 3 PM. After a long drive from Hyderabad, there was an adrenaline rush gushing out to see this most beautiful place and couldn't wait to snap the sandy beach and the 'river-beach' meeting point. This point is 2 km away from the beach (From Hamsaladeevi village, beach is 4 kms) and we drove our car on the beach side shore to the port to see the confluence.

      Distance : 376 km
      Ride: Honda City
      Fuel : Petrol
      Mileage : 15 kmpl
Hotel : OYO rooms (2000/- per night)

      Hyderabad --> Suryapet --> Vijayawada -->Pedapulipaka --> Madduru --> Thotlavalluru --> Nimmagadda --> Avanigadda --> Nagayalanka --> Chodavaram --> Hamsaladeevi Beach

Note: Don't take any diversions from the mentioned route else you might end up between bad conditioned roads and longer distances as you pass
