Pictures are wow @sagar Indian License will work in Malaysia? or do we need to take IDP additionally to drive around in Malaysia?

Thank you @Sridhar Tandra. Indian Driving license isn't valid. We need to obtain the International driver's License here after you get your VISA. The process is pretty easy and you would get it on the same day of application.

Beautiful pictures ... Malaysia has been my first International trip. You should check out Langkawi Islands too. It's a lovely place with best of the beaches :)

Thank you @hsudhir. Yeah, We had actually missed out the Langkawi Islands due to lack of time. Have saved Langkawi and Tioman islands for our next trip :D

Thank you @ksa171983. We had gone in the month of June 2016 .. I guess the rules must have got changed from the time of your visit. We were asked to produce the International driving license to rent a car.

We tried to cover the Langkawi but couldn't be possible as it was eating up 2 full days from our plan. We couldn't extend our trip either due to office commitments :(

We Pangkor island for the Scuba diving and Snorkelling. We could do the Snorkelling but had to skip the Scuba due to heavy rain storm and dark sky (lack of light).

https://autoportal.com/articles/top-10-countries-where-indian-driving-license-is-valid-6707.html

This link gives the top 10 countries only :D ..

When i checked the latest news on malaysia they went round and round but there was no clear answer on it ..

Haha.. yes, We have done a thorough survey before leaving India and have applied for one. It's valid for 1 year. :)

Easier option is to email or message the car rental services of that particular country with our queries and they ask us to send a photocopy of our license and answer back if it's valid or not. Hence we can apply accordingly ..

Hyderabad to Hamsaladeevi Beach - A hidden Paradise

After a long wait for the December trip, we kick started our vacation to the most beautiful Hamsaladeevi beach located in the Krishna district, Andhra Pradesh.

Usually many of them skip this place due to lack of accommodation, but you will find a decent stay in Vijayawada which is around 80 kms approximately from Hamsaladeevi. It is definitely worth travelling so far to see the beauty of this Sagara Sangamam, where river Krishna meets the Bay of Bengal.

We started at an early hour from Hyderabad and reached Vijayawada by 10 AM and checked into the OYO hotel. There are no food joints available at Hamsaladeevi beach so we packed the lunch from the hotel and headed out. Vijayawada to Hamsaladeevi drive took us 3 hours with some breaks.

Hamsaladeevi village is 24 kms away from Avanigadda and we reached Hamsaladeevi by 3 PM. After a long drive from Hyderabad, there was an adrenaline rush gushing out to see this most beautiful place and couldn't wait to snap the sandy beach and the 'river-beach' meeting point. This point is 2 km away from the beach (From Hamsaladeevi village, beach is 4 kms) and we drove our car on the beach side shore to the port to see the confluence.

      Distance : 376 km
      Ride: Honda City
      Fuel : Petrol
      Mileage : 15 kmpl
Hotel : OYO rooms (2000/- per night)

      Best Route 2016
      Hyderabad --> Suryapet --> Vijayawada -->Pedapulipaka --> Madduru --> Thotlavalluru --> Nimmagadda --> Avanigadda --> Nagayalanka --> Chodavaram --> Hamsaladeevi Beach

Note: Don't take any diversions from the mentioned route else you might end up between bad conditioned roads and longer distances as you pass
