Hyderabad international airport (RGIA) offers you convenient parking facilities.

It has around 3000 car parking facilities at different zones.

a380-air-airbus-358220.jpg

Car parking pricing at Hyderabad  airport RGIA(personal cars):

  • Rs.50.00 for first half-an-hour
  • Rs.80 for half an hour to one hour
  • Rs.100.00 for one hour to two hours
  • Rs.40.00 for each subsequent hour or part thereof
  • Rs.300.00 for 24 hours

Hyderabad international airport parking fee for two days?

For first day it is 300/- and from the second day maximum charge is 200/- (or based on number of hours)

So the price for two full days is 500/-

Hyderabad international airport parking fee for three days?

Price: 700/-

Hyderabad international airport parking fee for four days?

Price : 900/-

Hyderabad international airport parking fee for five days?

Price : 1100/-

Where is the long term parking area in Hyderabad airport?

  • There is a separate parking space for the long term parking beside Go-Karting.
  • But you can park it any place you want.
  • No one cares at the exit, you just need to pay the amount based on your check-in time.
  • Personally, i would suggest to park in the busy area for better security (close to McDonalds)

Less parking fee for the people who came for Go-Karting?

You will be charged 40/- for four hours, many people are not aware of this discount.

Is it safe to park long term at Hyderabad airport?
Last year there are few allegations about the theft of nifty parts like wiper blades, side view mirrors etc
No major issues reported so far.

Helpful post @Ranger. Good one. Appreciate it.

I would like to add a few more points to this.

For pick up at arrival and drop off at depatures,

You are given a token for a limit of 5 minutes at the entrance and if you turn out to be spending more than 5 minutes at the departures when you drop your passenger, your vehicle will be towed away if you get noticed or fines will be collected. Security is high at this area to avoid clogging.

Similarly at the arrival point, your time spent is calculated at the exit and charges are collected accordingly. No charges are collected if you leave the place in less than 5 minutes.

Nice post @Ranger

It will very helpful for people who are flying for one/two days.
500/- for two days looks lot cheaper than cabs.

Last month  it costed me around 1500/- just for cabs. (to and fro)
Also there is a safety concern with cabs on ORR, especially during late hours.
Most of the drivers look tired and sleepy. ?

In my opinion it is always better to drive down our own car.

Now this concerning factor! ?
i think as ranger suggested, parking near to McDonald's will be a safest choice.

Parking near gokarting can be risky affair, since it is isolated most of the time.

Works out only if the no. of days are below three.
I always prefer Pushpak(airport bus)  when ever it is available.
For people having late night flights, it is always better to drive your own car for short travel plans.

I got a drowsy driver once.
I had to keep him engaged through out the 40 minutes drive on ORR.

He said he is driving from 0600 in the morning and got picked me up around 2300. ?
It was a scary experience.

Any idea about the charges, If we cross five minutes?

So far as I know, charges for exit from arrival & departure ramp is as below:-

  • Exit Up to 5 mins = FREE
  • Exit between 5-10 mins = Fine Rs 100/-
  • Exit after 10 mins = Fine Rs 200/-

Now, one can may argue that, if I want to stay for more than 4 hours or for say for 24 hours then I will not be using parking facility as it may cost me Rs 300/- minimum as oppose to Rs 200/- as fine here at maximum.

But if you ask me, then my point is , I dont know if the rate for that case will be fixed like Rs 200/-, second if somebody loves his/her car, then s/he should not take chance by parking in ramp I guess and most importantly one should not park his/her car in ramp as it will cause traffic in the ramp for which somebody can miss the flight. Also, I feel, the car will surely be manhandled apart form penalty or fine etc. if it is parked in the ramp. At first place, "Fine" means you are not allowed to do so (but fined for a mistake ; it should not be taken for granted). Hence, better use parking facility.

Agree on it.

I think the fine amount should be more.
Some people simply don't care about 100/200 bucks.
They stay on the driveway and create jams.

As already informed by @Driveking that some construction work going near McD area. It is still there.

So u have to park Ur car in parking area only.

Thanks

How about parking at Decathlon parking area?

Parking at Decathalon gets closed in the night. The road towards it only remains closed by barricades during it's closing time. I don't think it's allowed to do that way.

I recently Parked my car for 5 days at RGIA (07/04/2018 - 07/08/2018) and i was charged Rs 1100. It is better than taking a cab and waiting for it.

It is very safe to park the car near Exit or close to McDonalds.

Very True @Anand Singh. I would personally prefer a cab if the price of the parking is costing the same or at least almost close  :) No parking outside can be safer than a place close to where we stay :D

Agree on it.
During my last visit, it costed me more than 1500+ to and fro.

Also driver is literally sleeping on the wheel(ORR, early morning flight).

I had to keep him engaged, talking some nonsense stuff.

5 days 1100 is damn cheap ..Whenever i take MMTS to old city area i park my car at lingampally station and for entire day they charge 220(actually 216 as per govt)..

This airport parking per day rates seems to be the same..

short travel this would be very economical compared to the cab ride ..

220/- for metro parking looks quite steep.

Unless the parking is neatly maintained and secured enough.

This is not the metro ... this Mmts ... and yea the parking at platform 6 side is actually quite good ... but limited cars ...

What about security, I see lack of security at parking.

If they flick a side view mirror,logo,...it will be an expensive affair.

This looks pretty much possible to occur in common. It's high time, the authority installs good CC tv night vision cameras around the place :)
