Hyderabad- Kolhapur - Gokarna- Sringeri- hyderabad route

Dear Travellers,

 

I am planning to have a long trip this summer with family on may 

Hyderabad to kolhapur  night halt at kolhapur 

Kolhapur to gokarna night halt at gokarna 

Gokarna to sringeri ( early morning drive )

Sringeri to chitradurga ( night halt )

Chitradurga to hyderabad 

 

Plan is little hectic but thought to cover all these places quickly 

No night journeys 

 

Any knowledge on the route between kolhapur to gokarna 

And chitradurga to anathapur

Kolhapur to Gokarna roads are excellent. You drive on NH48 till Dharward. it is a 4-lane toll road.
From Dharward it is single lane but roads are good nothing alarming.

It is a state highway, single lane and road is average. 
Earlier we used to face lot of truck traffic at Bellari.
I'm not sure about the current status.

4 days is going to be hectic.
But if you enjoy driving. It wont matter much.
Post some pictures, when you are done with the trip.

Gokarna to sringeri - on the way u have many places to visit....murdeswar, kollur, Udupi Srikrishna temple, maple and marwante beaches etc...

Gokarna has many beautiful beaches to visit.

Yes we shall visit murdeswar...

But due to time constrains not visiting udipi..but we had visited udipi twice ..stayed in a resort opposite beach ...

 

This time I have no choice ..I have to go in 1week of may and I am worried of the heat which is not in my hands ...

 

Surely I shall update about the trip

Yes, 4 days would be really hectic unless you skip to sight some places enroute.

Roads all the way are great.

Except for the Chitradurga - Anatapur stretch.. Roads are quite narrow which accumulates quite to a little traffic.

Don't miss out the Chitradurga fort. It's very beautiful
