Hi guys, is any one travel recently on Varanasi to Hyderbad via Allahabad, pl guide me for the place to stay for night and road conditions. I think to stay at Seoni/ Nagpur, pl suggest any good place to stay

Varanasi to Nagpur road condition is pathetic.
You need to start very early in the morning to avoid delays.

If you go via Allahabad you wont pass via Seoni.

Allahabad route is too long, it is not so great.
Better to stick with Jabalpur route.

During our visit to Nagpur we stayed at Hotel president. Place is new and neatly maintained, worth the money.

Hi @VSingh, I haven't been to varanasi but I can suggest you some good stays as you are looking for one in Seoni/Nagpur. In seoni, there are no decent stays except for Pench national park.

But, Nagpur has some amazing stays. You can check out the Legend Inn hotel if you are planning to stay anywhere close to the airport. It is economical and very decent.

Otherwise, Hotel nagpur Ashok is also a good option in the city which is economical. Very well maintained and big hotel.

Yes I had traveled on Varanasi to Hyderabad via Nagpur during April,2018  by using: Varanasi- Allahabad bypass- Jabalpur ( very bad road, even in between almost for 20-30 km RO road exits only vehicle track ), via Riva, Katni. I do not suggest to use this road at all, even by SUVs, I drove Creta.

Instead suggest to use Allahabad- Chitrakoot,Panna- Jabalpur- Pench national park to Nagpur.

I took almost 12 hrs for Azamgarh to Jabalpur ( via Varanasi).

Yes I had travelled from Azamgarh- Varanasi- Allahabad by pass - Riva- Mehar- Katni- Jabalpur- Pench National park- Nagpur, During April,2018. Road between Riva- littl after Katni is horrible and at many places it doesn’t exists at all, one has to drive on unlaced road wherein that is named as NH-7. Even at one place between Varanasi to allahabad NH is closed for some bridge works and you have to pass through very narrow sub lanes of a village, I had a issue as I drove Creta and another Innova had comes from opp direction, route was blocked for roughly an hour and one took car in reverse.

Suggest to avoid this and use- Varanasi/ Allahabad- Chitrakoot-Panna- Pavai - Katni- Jabalpur- Pench- Nagpur.

Recently in June 2018

Drove from Hyderabad to Delhi via adilabad- Hinganghat- Nagpur- Pench- Sagar( stay for a night halt at  hotel Deepali, adjacent to NH) after 900 KM in 11 hrs. Very good route.

Next morning started little early at 5 am , used Jhansi- Gwalior ( bad roads)-  Agra via Agra inner ring road, Taj Express way- NOIDA ( Superb road)- Delhi. Overall OK route. 11 hrs for 700 KM.

Issues:

Road within MP are bad as it seems their NH is entangled with some kind of litigation for years and works are stopped.

So single road with heavy head on traffic for almost 150-200 KMs.

No good dhabas between Jhansi to Agra.

We stopped for breakfast at Lucky Hotel, Chitua on NH.

Drove Hyundai Tucson GLS AT and got very good mileage of 13++ wherein company quote only 12.9 km/ lt.

Agree on it, road is pending from almost a decade.

Worst part? They are collecting toll for such type of roads.

Hyderabad to Hamsaladeevi Beach - A hidden Paradise

After a long wait for the December trip, we kick started our vacation to the most beautiful Hamsaladeevi beach located in the Krishna district, Andhra Pradesh.

Usually many of them skip this place due to lack of accommodation, but you will find a decent stay in Vijayawada which is around 80 kms approximately from Hamsaladeevi. It is definitely worth travelling so far to see the beauty of this Sagara Sangamam, where river Krishna meets the Bay of Bengal.

We started at an early hour from Hyderabad and reached Vijayawada by 10 AM and checked into the OYO hotel. There are no food joints available at Hamsaladeevi beach so we packed the lunch from the hotel and headed out. Vijayawada to Hamsaladeevi drive took us 3 hours with some breaks.

Hamsaladeevi village is 24 kms away from Avanigadda and we reached Hamsaladeevi by 3 PM. After a long drive from Hyderabad, there was an adrenaline rush gushing out to see this most beautiful place and couldn't wait to snap the sandy beach and the 'river-beach' meeting point. This point is 2 km away from the beach (From Hamsaladeevi village, beach is 4 kms) and we drove our car on the beach side shore to the port to see the confluence.

      Distance : 376 km
      Ride: Honda City
      Fuel : Petrol
      Mileage : 15 kmpl
Hotel : OYO rooms (2000/- per night)

      Best Route 2016
      Hyderabad --> Suryapet --> Vijayawada -->Pedapulipaka --> Madduru --> Thotlavalluru --> Nimmagadda --> Avanigadda --> Nagayalanka --> Chodavaram --> Hamsaladeevi Beach

Note: Don't take any diversions from the mentioned route else you might end up between bad conditioned roads and longer distances as you pass
