Hyderabad to Bangalore by Bike/Car

Hello Guys,

 

We always used to travel Hyderabad to Bangalore by car, it was very nice travelling experience.
 4-lane highway NH44, pretty good roads with lot of foody options on route.
But the toll tax is on the expensive side, around RS: 680/- one side.  

Airport to airport journey hours is just 6hrs. 

 

Once i tried travelled on bike (discover 150F) it was successful ride and I am very happy with the trip.

So car vs bike on Bangalore highway are completly two different experiences.
Which one would you prefer?

I travel between bangalore to hyderabad quite frequently atleast once a month and I love riding my enfield on this highway. Beautiful road and lot of food options all along the highway. I take about 7 hours and enjoy every bit of it.

None except the bikers would know this joy to enjoy it

It took me just 5:30 hours from Airport to Airport. It also incluides a 20 minutes breakfast stop.

Fast-tag defently helped a lot in saving the average drive time at toll booths.

It is still on of the best road to drive in the country.
Specially the strech between Kurnool to Bangalore.
It is completly isolated with beautiful landscapes! 

 

Personally, between Car vs Bike, I will always prefer a car based on safety and comfort paramaters.
But a Bike ride on those roads will be a fantastic experience. 

During our drive we came accross a Duke 390, he is comfortably doing 120 km/hr cruising.

cool. yes. scenic places. lot of wind mills as well. This route reminded me of SFO to Las Vegas road!

I did this in 6.5 hrs by car with 30mins break for dinner and reached Bng Airport to Gachibowli.

Bangalore highway is always fun to drive.

Those banking angles are too good.

It is a drivers paradise.

I think both car/bike drivers enjoy the route.

Can I travel in night time ?

Is it safe and how about police checks?

Hyderabad - Bangalore stretch is safe in terms of night travel. The check posts at the borders are active 24x7 which I feel is good move by the authorities.

Hyderabad to Bangalore highway is most active one. Never felt unsafe during night drives.
