Pune to Nagpur best route, route updates and road condition

Hi all, I am planning to drive from Pune to Nagpur and wanted to hear experience with road conditions, which routes and the road conditions? Especially 4 lane nice expressways.

Drove from Hyderabad to Pune, last weekend.
I took the following route.

 

Pune --> Solapur --> Kalaburgai --> Sedam --> Parigi --> Hyderabad

 

Roads are good throughout the drive.
It took us 11 hours as we are group of 10 cars and had many breaks en-route.

 

Zaheerabad route is still under construction.

 

Hyderabad to Nagpur is excellent road is excellent, 4-lane toll road.

Did Hyderabad to Nagpur last week. Roads are excellent for the most part. There just a small patch of bad road for about 40kms

That patch is pending from years.

It will take at least 16 hours to cover the distance, internal roads(SH) after Jalana are bad.
Pune to Jalana is a 4-lane road, road condition is good.
Once you cross Jalana roads are bad.

Thanks. That is a shame roads from Jalna are not good, Jalna is a lot before Nagpur so that is going to be a bad drive I guess.
