This is my first ever travel-photologue. So accept my apologizes if it's boring or not worthy :)

Drive:

Here the story goes,

Me, along with my cousin and his friends, we wanted to go to some place for long weekend. Being `married bachelors` (except me ;) ), they want to relax and chill out like bachelors.

When someone talks about destination, my inner mind thinks about driving to the destination. Did I say, I love travelling and that too when I drive down all those miles inch by inch in my beloved white beauty :)

While, they are discussing about different places, I felt Goa is the best place to visit at this time (Jan 23-27).

It's best for people like them where you can get drinks at much cheaper rate and not to say "enjoying the Goa Beaches and Beauty" :)

So we finalized the trip to Goa and then we decided that we would stay in 3 different restaurants in 3 days. Initial thought, we wanted to enjoy 3 star to 5 star resorts/hotels.

But it turned out to be bad idea as we have spent atleast half day in travelling from one place to another. Otherside, we roamed all around Goa, not just the beaches :)

Once we finalized on the places to stay, they were discussing about How to reach Goa? and my evil mind is already laughing with "It's my drive".

I was bit afraid of the time travel and road conditions to Goa, this community helped me out. Thanks guys!! If I would have trusted Google maps, I don't know how it would have turned out to be.

I must say, Hyderabad to Goa is not an easy trip. Not because of distance, it's because of our Indian roads, specially Karnataka roads.

The unexpected speed breakers, the speed breakers with height of my car tyre size (I am not hyping up, it's the fact and once you hit the speed breaker, you will repeat this line). I wonder how an earth one can build speed breakers of such height!!!

Anyway, rest of the story goes through pics. I am not a professional photographer or with such skills. Just random clicks :)

Amazing.Pictures look so refreshing.

Try to limit up to 10 pictures per post. It will be easy for editing. :)

24KMPL

He he he. Everyone who travels with me takes that shock.

I drive at 90-110 kmph and it always returns me that figure no matter how many roads I hit :)

Imagine it's fully loaded as you see number of people :D

Sometimes I wonder may be Skoda can learn how to drive car during ARAI testing :P

Nice pictures.

I feel like visiting Goa again, after looking at you pictures. ;)

Rapid is a great car to drive.Hope Skoda sorts out the after sale service issues.

I thought Rapid has good ground clearance. Will it touch small speed bumps when fully loaded?

I scrapped lightly once in the entire trip. That's because of stupid speed breaker near one railway crossing where it's very hard to cross with full load because of improper construction.

Otherwise it can take any speed breaker easily just maintain 45 degree inclined crossing. :)

Hyderabad to Hamsaladeevi Beach - A hidden Paradise

After a long wait for the December trip, we kick started our vacation to the most beautiful Hamsaladeevi beach located in the Krishna district, Andhra Pradesh.

Usually many of them skip this place due to lack of accommodation, but you will find a decent stay in Vijayawada which is around 80 kms approximately from Hamsaladeevi. It is definitely worth travelling so far to see the beauty of this Sagara Sangamam, where river Krishna meets the Bay of Bengal.

We started at an early hour from Hyderabad and reached Vijayawada by 10 AM and checked into the OYO hotel. There are no food joints available at Hamsaladeevi beach so we packed the lunch from the hotel and headed out. Vijayawada to Hamsaladeevi drive took us 3 hours with some breaks.

Hamsaladeevi village is 24 kms away from Avanigadda and we reached Hamsaladeevi by 3 PM. After a long drive from Hyderabad, there was an adrenaline rush gushing out to see this most beautiful place and couldn't wait to snap the sandy beach and the 'river-beach' meeting point. This point is 2 km away from the beach (From Hamsaladeevi village, beach is 4 kms) and we drove our car on the beach side shore to the port to see the confluence.

      Distance : 376 km
      Ride: Honda City
      Fuel : Petrol
      Mileage : 15 kmpl
Hotel : OYO rooms (2000/- per night)

      Best Route 2016
      Hyderabad --> Suryapet --> Vijayawada -->Pedapulipaka --> Madduru --> Thotlavalluru --> Nimmagadda --> Avanigadda --> Nagayalanka --> Chodavaram --> Hamsaladeevi Beach

Note: Don't take any diversions from the mentioned route else you might end up between bad conditioned roads and longer distances as you pass
