Can we cover all the places in a single drive?

At least a nights stay is required to cover all of these as many are not accessible by road so easily. A few of these need a bit of treks and hikes to do. Let's plan to these this August/September.

 Dulam Satya Narayana

Great work by Satya Narayana

Loved each and every frame.

He is blessed with lot of talent.

Thank you ranger for consolidating the video.

First time I have seen such a video by government.

Looks like Telangana government are doing some work to promote tourism.

If they allow camping in such places, it will be definitely a successful campaign.

Can we cover all the places in a single drive?

I think it will take 2~3 days to cover all the places.

But they can be covered at a time, most of the located close to each other.

Why don't we all plan a drive together?

Provided, The crowd should act responsible by not littering around the place and spoiling the nature. This is very much a common problem all over India with the crowd be they educated or not.

We can start exploring these in the list in August. :)

First/Second week are good to go.

Please fix a date.
I know it is too early to plan.
But without fixing a date we will forget about it.

My question to all the members? If we can cover all the waterfalls in two/three days.

Where to start?
Where to stay?

On which date?

How many members willing to join?

Like you have mentioned, we will have to fix the dates first to see how many members would be available! August has a long weekend (Aug 15 combined with Planned Leaves I mean), most of them would have had planned it already if I am not wrong since it is hardly only a month away from now!

August 15th looks ideal for the drive.

But lets see, since many members would have planned some trip on the long weekend.

Thanks for sharing the current status of the flow @Anand Singh.. :) I guess, the day was sunny during your drive. The place around the falls always looks dry to me. May be because of the rocky terrain around.

Usually during this time of the year, the flow is even more high but I feel this year lacked rains so far and that should be the reason for this :(

This year rains are pretty low around Telangana.

From your pictures, i can see that flow is on the lower side.

During monsoon, flow is very high.

I heard there is a fence around waterfalls,

We can't reach the foot hills of waterfalls, Is it true?

Exactly! Water flow is low, usually by this time water levels / flow will generally be high covering the rocky surface

I think, we should do Bogatha falls soon... I have seen my friend's recent trip to Bogatha and the water flow is quite good at the moment :D

True, We should not do that as per security restrictions but  their are no security/police, so people do what ever they want and i saw many people climbing on top of the falls. So would advise the travellers not to climb on to the hills to get access to the water falls.ONE SLIP AND YOU CAN LOOSE BALANCE AND GO STRAIGHT DOWN TO THE BOTTOM OF THE FALLS WHICH ARE AT A HEIGHT OF Approx more than 100 ft.

Very true @Anand Singh That is a super risky affair and one can easily loose their life with a small error. During my visit, I have seen the security around handling the crowd from getting into the water. He had also mentioned about a latest accident of 2 guys losing their lives at this spot.

Both  are around Adilabad only.
For Mitte we need to take right turn before Adilabad.

I think Naveen can give us more details, since he is very familiar with that area.

Its Good place Fully agency land i mean 100% tribal habitat.

But no facilities for food near by we need to carry everything that is needed.

We drive from Hyderabad to Gudihatnur then we take right.

Go ahead towards Jainur then Sirpur.

We need to park our cars at Sirpur.

From parking we should walk rest of the distance and cross a water stream before we reach the falls.

We need to take the help of villagers( Bullock Cart) they can help us in crossing the stream.

No security guards at falls. Self security is advised.

Kuntala is few kms before we reach adilabad. Even this is a good spot to spend our weekends. Road drive upto the location available.(i will update road condition because of Bhagirata pipe lining) . Bakery and meals hotels are available there. Top view and bottom view both are beautiful. We need to walkdown 400-500 steps to reach the bottom side of the falls. Rudramadevi movie was shot here.

Is it safe to go wtih family. I have a small kid who is 5 years old.

Is the water stream that you mentioned safe for passage with my kid. Or more water force in that stream ?

and how long will the walking distance be to reach Mitte pittaguda from the parking space..?

You can drive up to mitte village and from there you either walk down to falls crossing the stream or take the help of villagers.

If the stream has heavy flow, then help of villagers is compulsory.

We crossed the stream with bare foot but I don't advice the same when you are with family and kids.

Don't expect clean and smooth walk there , it's black soil land and we need to be ready take such walk.

Or villagers help up to falls makes our way easier.

Two types of waterfall can be seen in pics. Hope you can see one is vertically down. It's fully rocky we need to be careful.

Just go through the first post, many options are available.

If you are planning, this weekend is the right time.
Most of the places will be over crowded during Dussehra weekend.
