One of our member Mr. Vamshi shared this video on WhatsApp, we were amazed to know about this beautiful place.

We never heard or came across the Mancherial town.

I'm consolidating the places mentioned in the video, which can be helpful to our fellow members.

If time permits, we shall explore this place within a month and share more details on this.

List of places to explore in Mancherial

Are these places accessible by road?

Info shared by Mr. Srikanth:

All these places are accessible by road.
The fort is also called as Indaram Fort and lies between Mancherial and Ramagundam road.

The MCC quarry lake has no access now as it's closed but we have access to the park.

Bugga temple is very nice and its bit inside. Its between Ramagundam and Hyderabad highway.

Wild life Sanctuary is also good but very less spotting of animals. But it is worthy to visit all these places. A two day trip will be good enough to explore all of the above mentioned.

Yeah,
Extensive planning is required as we don't have any information available.
I think it is impossible to cover all the places in a single day. What do you guys say?

I may go to Karimnagar next weekend(friends marriage), I will try to gather some information about Mancherial.

We will cover this place in monsoon.

I haven't explored this place but have heard about it from a friend of mine. He had visited the Quarry in Macncherial. Also, I see a lot of water lands, Lakes or ponds around this place on the maps. There is a lot of space for exploration I believe. and regarding the Kawal Tiger reserve, I don't think these chances of tiger spotting is good. But, I'm sure it will be a serene place to stay away from the urban chaos.

Great..

Mancherial is one of the beautiful places close to Hyderabad. I'm surprised to see a tiger reserve here. Any information on the availability of the tigers in that reserve ? Anybody has more information about  the Kawal tiger reserve?

I have been to the Kawal tiger reserve last month (June 2017) which was about 300km from Hyderabad, 70 km from Nirmal.
It was a 2 day trip with an overnight stay at Harita resort in Kawal tiger reserve.

Harita resort had to be booked online.

The place was serene no doubt about it but the resort was very poorly maintained.

Very disappointed with my visit. Not at all suitable for people traveling with families.

Stained towels and bed sheets are untidy. Arrogant and irresponsible staff. Food was also bad.

There is no compound to this resort and you would find the villagers with in the resort roaming freely around and playing in the resort play area which I felt was quite unsafe.

The safari timings were between 9 am to 5 pm.

The safari lasted for about 1 hour 45 minutes which we were taken in an open jeep.

It was a nice experience. We could sport few deers and wild boars. Don't expect to sight any tigers as you would be disappointed.

If it rains, the safari wont be available.

Any idea about Safari slot booking, any website.
We need to book the safari after reaching the destination.
