Namaskaram,

As I mentioned in the title, I am looking for a best scenic and adventurous route for my upcoming long bike ride (Hyderabad to Rajasthan).

Additionally:

I have a zero knowledge on the spots of Rajasthan, so looking here for some experienced bloke who can advice/suggest me some BEST Places to Visit.

More Details:

1. Planning to complete the round trip in 9 days.

2. Start: December 2022 (Not decided any date yet)

3. Ride on: Bike, RE CLASSIC 350

4. Mode of Trip: Solo Bike Ride

5. Experience: Explored almost all over south Part of India on Bike.

Hello JRD,

Rajasthan is a big place, I made an itinerary covering all places, and it would take 25 days hyd to hyd.

But here is one I think will cover most, and will be helpful to cover in 9 days.

Day 1 & 2: Jaipur

Places to cover : City Palace, jantar mantar, Hawa mahal, Nahargargh Fort, jai garh fort(Can avoid) , Amber fort, & Jal mahal.

Day 3 : Swai Madhapor,

Distance from jaipur : 150 kms, 3 Hours.

Start early morning and reach by breakfast. Cover places by night.

Places to cover Ranthambore fort and Ranthambore tiger reserve.

Day 4 : Chittorgarh

Distance from Swai madhopor : 280 kms, 6 hours.

Start early, and reach by lunch. Spend night here.

Places to cover : chittorgarh fort.

Day 5 : Udaipur

Distance from chittorgarh : 120 kms, 2 hours.

Start early, and reach early.

Places to cover : lake pichola, city palace, jagmandir. ( Suggest to go to city palace in the morning and after lunch take a boat ride to jagmandir, and spend senset on the island and comeback.)

Day 6 : Jhodpur

Distance from udaipur : 250 kms, 5 hours.

Start early, reach by lunch.

Places to visit : Mehrangarh Fort. (Don't miss the blue city view from this place, enjoy the sunset from here) , if time permits explore city.

Day 7 : Pushkar/Ajmer

Distance from Jhodpur : 200 Kms, 4 hours.

Places to visit: Pushkar lake, brahma temple, Ajmer dargah

Day 8 : Sambhar

Distance from Ajmer : 100 Kms.

places to visit : Sambhar salt Lake.

day 9 : back to jaipur.

You can skip sambhar, and add mount abu near udaipur. To watch the jain temples, and drive directly from Ajmer to Jaipur.

Thanks for your Reply Long Ranger... Have a few questions, could you please help?!

  1. Is it wise to choose one, two, or three of Rajasthan's states rather than all of them at once? If so, which states should I visit from beginning to end in my nine days, including travel?
  2. What are Rajasthan's "musts and
  3. Before visiting Rajasthan, are there any anything I should be aware of?

Hyderabad to Hamsaladeevi Beach - A hidden Paradise

After a long wait for the December trip, we kick started our vacation to the most beautiful Hamsaladeevi beach located in the Krishna district, Andhra Pradesh.

Usually many of them skip this place due to lack of accommodation, but you will find a decent stay in Vijayawada which is around 80 kms approximately from Hamsaladeevi. It is definitely worth travelling so far to see the beauty of this Sagara Sangamam, where river Krishna meets the Bay of Bengal.

We started at an early hour from Hyderabad and reached Vijayawada by 10 AM and checked into the OYO hotel. There are no food joints available at Hamsaladeevi beach so we packed the lunch from the hotel and headed out. Vijayawada to Hamsaladeevi drive took us 3 hours with some breaks.

Hamsaladeevi village is 24 kms away from Avanigadda and we reached Hamsaladeevi by 3 PM. After a long drive from Hyderabad, there was an adrenaline rush gushing out to see this most beautiful place and couldn't wait to snap the sandy beach and the 'river-beach' meeting point. This point is 2 km away from the beach (From Hamsaladeevi village, beach is 4 kms) and we drove our car on the beach side shore to the port to see the confluence.

      Distance : 376 km
      Ride: Honda City
      Fuel : Petrol
      Mileage : 15 kmpl
Hotel : OYO rooms (2000/- per night)

Note: Don't take any diversions from the mentioned route else you might end up between bad conditioned roads and longer distances as you pass
