We have planned to go to Muktinath by renting a self drive car from Gorakhpur.  Our plan is to reach Gorakhpur by flight.

Note: Instead we can plan from Hyderabad to Hyderabad. As our car is Hyundai venue, we didn't want to take risk of riding that on the roads of Nepal. So, we have planned to rent a self drive car in Gorakhpur.

Our plan details are as follows.

Day 1: Reach Gorakhpur and rest for the day. Complete the formalities of renting the vehicle and permissions to enter Nepal.

Day 2: At any cost we have to start from Gorakhpur by 5:00 Am and we will proceed towards Pokhra. Before going to Pokhra we have to undergo some permissions at Kakrahwa border from where we can visit Lumbini followed by Pokhra. (We have chosen this border for two reasons, 1. As per initial research we have done, this border will have less rush and it will take very less time to cross the border when compared to Sonauli. 2. We can visit the birth place of lord buddha i.e., Lumbini). (300km - 12hours)

Day 3: We have to leave from Pokhra in the early hours towards Jomsom. (180km - 8hours)

Day 4: We have darshan at Muktinath temple and proceed directly towards Pokhra. (220km - 9hours).

Day 5: Visit as many attraction as possible in Pokhra.

Day 6: Leave from Pokhra to Katmandu. Enroute we will try to visit Manokamna temple as the ropeway towards the temple is worth visiting. (200km - 8hours)

Day 7: Local visiting in Katmandu.

Day 8: Leave from Katmandu towards Janakpur (300km - 7hours)

Day 9: Visit Janakpur and temple and proceed towards Gorakhpur via Sitamarhi (300km - 12 hours)

Day 10: Rest at Gorakhpur for the day (Can use this a buffer day)

Day 11: Onward Journey towards Hyderabad

There is a slight change in our plan.

Before heading towards Gorakhpur, we are planning to visit Prayagraj, followed by Chitrakoot (not Chitrakoot waterfalls) and Ayodhya.

So,

Day 1: We will reach Prayagraj and visit the places over there. By night we will proceed towards Chitrakoot.

Day 2: We will visit the places in chitrakkot. By afternoon we will proceed towards Ayodhya. Night halt will be at Ayodhya.

Day 3: We will visit Ayodhya.

Day 4: We will leave for Gorakhpur

Then the plan proceeds as intimated before.

As lot of people approached us our number has increased from 5 to 23. So, instead of renting a car in Gorakhpur, we are planning to rent a tempo traveler.

Finally we are done with our trip. Due to lot of land slides we were not able to go as per our plan.

29-8-22: We have left from hyderabad.

30-8-22: We have reached Prayagraj. Had bath in triveni sangam.

31-8-22: We have headed towards chitrakoot. From here we have left to Lucknow.

1-9-22: We have reached Gorakpur. After breakfast we have visited Gorakhnath Mandir, Geeta Bhavan and left for Lumbini (Birth place of Gautham Buddha).

From Lumbini we have left to Pokhra.

Our hurdles started from here. On the way to Pokhra we have stuck in traffic due to land slides. We had night halt in bus.

2-9-22: We have started from the place we have stopped and reached Pokhra by 10:00AM. After that we took rest and started from Pokhra by 2:00PM.

We faced another hurdle today. On our way to Jomsom, after Beni our vehicle got stucked in mud. So as we are not having any option, we took a homestay nearby till our vehicle got rescued.

3-9-22: We have started from here directly towards Muktinath. By 2:00PM we have reached Muktinath. After Darshan, we headed back to Jomsom for night halt.

4-9-22: We have started to Pokhra. Today we didn't faced any hurdles. But our body got drained up till the time we reached Jomsom

5-9-22: Due to strain we woke up late and we didn't get any choice to visit Pokra. After lunch we have left for Khatmandu. The road condition here is good, when compared to the road conditions we were facing since last 3 days. By night we have reached Khatmandu.

6-9-22: We have visited pasupathinath Mandir, Darbar square in Khatmandu. After lunch we have left from Khatmandu towards Janakpur. On the way we have visited Mankamna temple. We had night halt at Janakpur.

7-9-22: We have reached Janakimatha temple, Janakbhavan, Marriage mandap. After that we have left for Sitamarhi. It just took 20 minutes to come back to India. After reaching India, I felt that roads were fabulous. In sitamarhi we have visited the temple from where Janak got sitamata while ploughing. After that we have left for Gorakpur for night halt.

8-9-22: We have left for Ayodhya by 6:00Am. We have visted places in Ayodhya.

9-9-22: By 11:00Am we have left from hyderabad via Lucknow.

10-9-22: We have reached hyderabad.

The experience we have recieved is fabulous. Coming to Journey from Pokhra to Jomsom one should experience the rollercoaster ride from Pokhra to Jomsom, everybody will enjoy this route. I have heard from localites that, going there in the month of March to May is worth visting (Nobody can give assurance regarding landslides).

Wholesome we had a different experience in the journey which includes spirituality, adventure, heritage and nature walk.

Hyderabad to Hamsaladeevi Beach - A hidden Paradise

After a long wait for the December trip, we kick started our vacation to the most beautiful Hamsaladeevi beach located in the Krishna district, Andhra Pradesh.

Usually many of them skip this place due to lack of accommodation, but you will find a decent stay in Vijayawada which is around 80 kms approximately from Hamsaladeevi. It is definitely worth travelling so far to see the beauty of this Sagara Sangamam, where river Krishna meets the Bay of Bengal.

We started at an early hour from Hyderabad and reached Vijayawada by 10 AM and checked into the OYO hotel. There are no food joints available at Hamsaladeevi beach so we packed the lunch from the hotel and headed out. Vijayawada to Hamsaladeevi drive took us 3 hours with some breaks.

Hamsaladeevi village is 24 kms away from Avanigadda and we reached Hamsaladeevi by 3 PM. After a long drive from Hyderabad, there was an adrenaline rush gushing out to see this most beautiful place and couldn't wait to snap the sandy beach and the 'river-beach' meeting point. This point is 2 km away from the beach (From Hamsaladeevi village, beach is 4 kms) and we drove our car on the beach side shore to the port to see the confluence.

      Distance : 376 km
      Ride: Honda City
      Fuel : Petrol
      Mileage : 15 kmpl
Hotel : OYO rooms (2000/- per night)

      Hyderabad --> Suryapet --> Vijayawada -->Pedapulipaka --> Madduru --> Thotlavalluru --> Nimmagadda --> Avanigadda --> Nagayalanka --> Chodavaram --> Hamsaladeevi Beach

Note: Don't take any diversions from the mentioned route else you might end up between bad conditioned roads and longer distances as you pass
