We were planning to go to Kishkindha (Hampi) since December 2019. We have planned to go during Ugadi in 2020 which was lost in first lockdown. Then we planned to go during ramnavami in 2021, which was also gone through second lockdown. Finally Lord Hanuman called us to visit his birthplace during the December 2021. Initially we have planned to go by a road trip to Hampi form Hyderabad. But due to the blessings of Lord Venkateswara we got VIP break Darshan passes on the same day when we have planned to leave from Hyderabad. Due to less leaves during the weekend our planning continued as follows:

Day 0: 23-12-21

We have left from Hyderabad by Garuda bus (APSRTC) by 20:30 from Aramghar cross roads.

Day 1: 24-12-21

The person who have arranged VIP break darshan, also have arranged a car which pickued up from the outskirts of Tirupathi and directly took us to our Accomodation in Tirumala (which was also arranged by same person). Then we had Darshan of Lord venkateswara. After Darshan we had our lunch at Annadanam (Vengamamba annadana satram).

After lunch by 13:30 we left fro tirumala and reached Tirupathi by 14:30 (the trip was late due to the road renovation works which were flooded). Then we had Darshan at Srinivasamangapuram and alimelu mangapuram.

By 16:00 we came back to our accomodation and took rest for some time.

By 17:30 - We have left from accomodation to visit Govindarajaswamy temple, Kodandaramaswamy temple and Kapilateertham.

By 21:00  we have left tirupathi by Haripriya express (Train No.: 17415)

Day 2: 25-12-21

We have reached hospete by 5:30 AM. By the time we have reached Hospete, my Mother's friend arranged a car and a driver.

Then we have proceeded to our accomodation which is near Tungabhadra Dam.

Then we have freshenup and left from guest house by 7:30AM.

By 8:30 AM we have reached Anjanadri hill. As it was saturday there was heavy rush and due to the narrow path from where people going uphill and downhill should go, it took us 3 hrs to go up and come down. We have reached to the foot of hill by 12:00.

As our plan was to visit Kishkindha, we had fasting and we decided to have only fruits.

Then we headed towards Chintamani, from where lord Ram shot Vali.

This is the cave where Lord Rama had meeting with Sugreeva and Vanara sena before sending them in search of Sita Mata.

On our way we have visited Pampa Sarovar where Lord Rama and Lakshman met Sabari, but we didn't got chance to visit Sabari cave and sarovar as it was under renovation.

From here we wnet to Malyavantha Parvat temple, where Lord Sriram stayed for four months during rainy season. In Kishkindha Kanda of Valmiki Ramayan, it is written that "After Sugreeva becomes king of Kishkindha, Lord Rama gave time to Sugreeva to get settled as it was rainy season".

By the time we left Zenena enclosure it was 18:00. So we came back to our guest house to take rest.

Day 2: 26-12-21

In the morning we have visited tungabhadra dam.

After that, we have went to Vittala temple.

This is the famous stone chariot in vittala temple.

Then, we have enquired there regarding rishyamuka parvat (place where sugreeva along with Hanuma and Jambavantha have hided from Vali as Vali has curse that he can go any where else but not rishymuka parvat. The curse was given by Matanga muni).

So, from there we went to Virupaksha temple by walk along the banks of Tungabhadra river.

There we found this place which gave goosebumps to all of us.

Sugreeva cave where Sugreeva got hided from Vali. This is the place where Lord Rama met Hanuma followed by Sugreeva. By visiting all these we were in a trance and we can't able to believe ourselves that, literally we are on rishyamuka parvat, where lord Rama also stayed for some days.

By this you can compare every monument in its place.

From there we have headed towards Virupaksha temple. We had darshan in temple. By the time we came out our vehicle was waiting over there. From there we have visited remaining places of Hampi like Narasimha, Ganesha, Badavalinga, Matunga hill etc.

By 18:00  we have reached back to guest house. By 20:30 we had a bus back to Hyderabad from Hospete.

Day 3: 27-12-21

We got down bus at Aramghar cross roads by 5:00 we went back home with lot of memories.

Very well portrayed @Manjutrav.. Must have been a good experience and the plan looks perfect for a weekend trip where people would not have to miss out on their office schedules..

Have you tried any local restaurants during your time in Hampi which you want to recommend ? Also, what were the cab charges per day during your trip?

As our plan was to vist Kishkindha and it is a kind of pilgrimage trip we just relyed on fruits as juices. Mostly we had coconut water for which we felt more than enough.

As my mother's friend has a cab service, he provided us that for free. Also, as he is having a guest house in Hospet we have recided in it for free of cost.

Hyderabad to Hamsaladeevi Beach - A hidden Paradise

After a long wait for the December trip, we kick started our vacation to the most beautiful Hamsaladeevi beach located in the Krishna district, Andhra Pradesh.

Usually many of them skip this place due to lack of accommodation, but you will find a decent stay in Vijayawada which is around 80 kms approximately from Hamsaladeevi. It is definitely worth travelling so far to see the beauty of this Sagara Sangamam, where river Krishna meets the Bay of Bengal.

We started at an early hour from Hyderabad and reached Vijayawada by 10 AM and checked into the OYO hotel. There are no food joints available at Hamsaladeevi beach so we packed the lunch from the hotel and headed out. Vijayawada to Hamsaladeevi drive took us 3 hours with some breaks.

Hamsaladeevi village is 24 kms away from Avanigadda and we reached Hamsaladeevi by 3 PM. After a long drive from Hyderabad, there was an adrenaline rush gushing out to see this most beautiful place and couldn't wait to snap the sandy beach and the 'river-beach' meeting point. This point is 2 km away from the beach (From Hamsaladeevi village, beach is 4 kms) and we drove our car on the beach side shore to the port to see the confluence.

      Distance : 376 km
      Ride: Honda City
      Fuel : Petrol
      Mileage : 15 kmpl
Hotel : OYO rooms (2000/- per night)

      Best Route 2016
      Hyderabad --> Suryapet --> Vijayawada -->Pedapulipaka --> Madduru --> Thotlavalluru --> Nimmagadda --> Avanigadda --> Nagayalanka --> Chodavaram --> Hamsaladeevi Beach

Note: Don't take any diversions from the mentioned route else you might end up between bad conditioned roads and longer distances as you pass
