An exploration drive on the Hyderabad ORR.

Total distance : 130 Kilometers

Hyderabad ORR

• Beautiful 8-lane outer ring road.
• 160 kilometers.
• No entry  for 2,3 wheelers.
• No traffic signals or speed breakers.

We stopped, discussed and decided to head towards Hanuman temple, which has a beautiful view of the ORR

Exit road itself looks like a 4-lane track.

 

We took the service road from Nagarjuna sagar exit to Hanuman temple.

From the service road, we diverted on to the Ghat section, which leads to the temple entrance.

Beautiful Hyderabad Outer ring road (ORR)

 

On reaching the dead-end, we had parked our vehicles and explore the rest of the place on foot.

 

During summers, early mornings are the best time to visit.

 

On one side it has the ORR and on the other side it has barren lands surrounded by hills.

 

 

We spent around 20 minutes and drove back due to the summer heat.

After the temple exploration, we went took the underpass tunnels of the ORR for a photo shoot.

And we feel its OKAY to live a life that others don't understand.

Thanks bro..

Both are same Variant! But year is different.. its not Matt black. (Its actually Mercedes-Benz's sparkling black.)
Black one is 2007 model. Maroon is a facelift model.

Superb pictures @gowtham and @Saran I think sunset would be the right time to visit this place to get a beautiful view of the ORR. It looks quite unexplored. Will definitely go there this weekend. Thanks for sharing the info

This is definitely one of the best spots near ORR to go on a quick drive and watch the ORR view in tranquility of nature , sky and open space all around you. Take a seat in one of the rocks and decide the show you want to view .. sunset, flight taking off or landing, ORR traffic , or just a thin line forest under your rocks. 

 

Give it a try early morning or I recommend just before the sunset! How Alas ... for safety purpose Police does not allow to stay back longer at night or else photography under the sky in the dark would have been a great spot for many of us. 

 

Some of my clicks from this spot - Some of them are from late evening, early morning and late Afternoon.

Agree on it.
Only issue with this place? 
Cops create unnecessary nuisance.
I think there is some control room behind the temple.

Yes there is a lodge for Police at the back side of the Temple.  They keep checking the spots after night and they fear of people drinking,  trying committing suicide from the high top can be on the line all the time. However I guess they can always let people sit and watch the view till it becomes dark or we go in group or with family.
