Wow, this is one heck of a road trip you have done. Thanks a lot for sharing the details well with the location pins.
How well were the places you’ve stayed sanitised during these tough situations?

More information on the road conditions of the routes you’ve taken will be more helpful.. Thank you for sharing! Cheers

We went there in September. We felt that the rooms were well sanitized. We mostly preferred to stay in dharamshalas instead of hotels. As we didn't find any good dharamshala in Rudraprayag and Agra we opted for hotel. Coming to the case of Mathura a lot of Dhramshalas are available in Vrindavan which is far away from Krishna Janmabhoomi of Mathura. So, we have opted for the hotel nearer to Shri Krishna Janmasthan. So, we have visited temple thrice during our visit to Mathura. While coming to Sagar, the hotel is few meters away from the highway. There was no need to take more diversion from highway. Instead we made it our main route.

Very nice details and very helpful. How was the road condition through out ?

The roads were smooth throughout?

Any GHAT section in this route where we need to be extra careful?

Till Meerut it was smooth. We tried very hard to escape the traffic of Delhi. So, from Yamuna expressway we take diversion to catch delhi meerut expressway. There I found road conditions were ok. But due to traffic we faced a little problem. After leaving Meerut bypass, we drove for around one hour and ghats got started. Till Rudraprayag ghats are good. Till Rishikesh we were careful in ghats. After rishikesh the ghats will go along Ganga River and roads are very narrow. So, you have to be 2X careful till Rudraprayag. After Rudraprayag Ghats became even narrower till Joshimath. Here we were 5X careful while driving. After Vishnuprayag, I found roads were more dangerous. So, in Vishnuprayag, we were very very careful and we were very slow in our pace. Also, it was dusky when we crossed Joshimath. As, the next day pindadaan was very important for our parents (fell on the same day of death anniversary of my grandparents), we tried to reach Badrinath (my husband was pretty confident while driving, but I was so frightened). But my call was, its better to stay at joshimath or Pipalkoti, if you are not in urgency to reach Badrinath.

Remaining route I didn't find any difficulty and we were having 3 drivers in our batch we didn't find any difficulty to travel long distances in one day.

Hyderabad to Hamsaladeevi Beach - A hidden Paradise

After a long wait for the December trip, we kick started our vacation to the most beautiful Hamsaladeevi beach located in the Krishna district, Andhra Pradesh.

Usually many of them skip this place due to lack of accommodation, but you will find a decent stay in Vijayawada which is around 80 kms approximately from Hamsaladeevi. It is definitely worth travelling so far to see the beauty of this Sagara Sangamam, where river Krishna meets the Bay of Bengal.

We started at an early hour from Hyderabad and reached Vijayawada by 10 AM and checked into the OYO hotel. There are no food joints available at Hamsaladeevi beach so we packed the lunch from the hotel and headed out. Vijayawada to Hamsaladeevi drive took us 3 hours with some breaks.

Hamsaladeevi village is 24 kms away from Avanigadda and we reached Hamsaladeevi by 3 PM. After a long drive from Hyderabad, there was an adrenaline rush gushing out to see this most beautiful place and couldn't wait to snap the sandy beach and the 'river-beach' meeting point. This point is 2 km away from the beach (From Hamsaladeevi village, beach is 4 kms) and we drove our car on the beach side shore to the port to see the confluence.

      Distance : 376 km
      Ride: Honda City
      Fuel : Petrol
      Mileage : 15 kmpl
Hotel : OYO rooms (2000/- per night)

      Best Route 2016
      Hyderabad --> Suryapet --> Vijayawada -->Pedapulipaka --> Madduru --> Thotlavalluru --> Nimmagadda --> Avanigadda --> Nagayalanka --> Chodavaram --> Hamsaladeevi Beach

Note: Don't take any diversions from the mentioned route else you might end up between bad conditioned roads and longer distances as you pass
