Bangalore to Gwalior Route query

Hi all

I am going to travel (by own car) from Bangalore to Gwalior, starting on 29th August. Planning to take NH44 during the entire stretch. As I would be the only driver and do not want to drive in dark, we would be having an overnight halt in Hyderabad and then in Nagpur. I do have few questions and I would appreciate if the forum members can help me out :)

1) How's the stretch from Hyderabad to Nagpur? If I am keeping a steady speed of 80-100kmph, how much time it should take to reach Nagpur? (with half an hour break in between?

2) Any one has any idea about the stretch from Nagpur to Gwalior? (This is the longest one (700+kms))

3) Most important question - Any suggestion for good eateries along the highway on BLR-HYD, HYD-NGP and NGP-GWL stretch? We would be carrying our own food, but need this information primarily for a stop to relax and use the lavatories

4) Any other suggestion?

Lastly, if anyone else is going through this route at around the same date, let me know :) a convoy is always better!

Avoid stopover in Hyderabad.
If you start early in the morning from Bangalore, you can comfortably complete Bangalore to Nagpur without any major issues.

Hyderabad to Nagpur is excellent, except for the few bad patches after crossing Adilabad.

Very limited food options on this route. If possible carry food and water.

This section is going to be tough,  I have done this route in 2018.
There are some really bad sections on this route.

Key is to start early morning from Nagpur.

Bangalore to Hyderabad has plenty of options. No need to worry on this section
Hyderabad to Adilabad has decent dhabas, but don't expect luxury. Rely on fuel pumps, would suggest Relaince.

Adilabad to Nagpur has very limited options.

If you are planning a night drive, sections from Bangalore to Nagpur are safe.
Nagpur to Gwalior, we did during nigh time, felt unsafe with very limited facilities.

Plan to start early morning from Nagpur.

It seems to be a long stretch of 1000 kms, and me being the only driver, not comfortable in driving when its dark. Any specific reason to avoid overnight stay in Hyderabad? I am planning to book a good 5 star hotel to avoid covid safety issues

Plus, I would be driving my Nexon with a heavy load of luggage, so need to consider the car dynamics as well.

Please advise on route from Nagpur to Gwalior. Travelling with family. Need help on road and facilities like food and stay.

If you start early in the morning, you can do it in a single day.
Or you can plan to stay at sagar.

Lot of stray animals on the road, better to avoid night drive.

Hyderabad to Hamsaladeevi Beach - A hidden Paradise

After a long wait for the December trip, we kick started our vacation to the most beautiful Hamsaladeevi beach located in the Krishna district, Andhra Pradesh.

Usually many of them skip this place due to lack of accommodation, but you will find a decent stay in Vijayawada which is around 80 kms approximately from Hamsaladeevi. It is definitely worth travelling so far to see the beauty of this Sagara Sangamam, where river Krishna meets the Bay of Bengal.

We started at an early hour from Hyderabad and reached Vijayawada by 10 AM and checked into the OYO hotel. There are no food joints available at Hamsaladeevi beach so we packed the lunch from the hotel and headed out. Vijayawada to Hamsaladeevi drive took us 3 hours with some breaks.

Hamsaladeevi village is 24 kms away from Avanigadda and we reached Hamsaladeevi by 3 PM. After a long drive from Hyderabad, there was an adrenaline rush gushing out to see this most beautiful place and couldn't wait to snap the sandy beach and the 'river-beach' meeting point. This point is 2 km away from the beach (From Hamsaladeevi village, beach is 4 kms) and we drove our car on the beach side shore to the port to see the confluence.

      Distance : 376 km
      Ride: Honda City
      Fuel : Petrol
      Mileage : 15 kmpl
Hotel : OYO rooms (2000/- per night)

Note: Don't take any diversions from the mentioned route else you might end up between bad conditioned roads and longer distances as you pass
