Plan  Day 1 : Hyderabad to Pune (Lonavala)

Total kilometres : ~ 600

Drive time : 11 hours

We will be dividing the convoy into two groups.
Based on the pace at which members are comfortable.

Most of the toll gates stopovers can be used for quick breaks and regroup points.

Section:1
Meet-up Point : Hyderabad ORR, Mumbai highway exit.

Meet-up time : 5:00 AM
Meet-up landmark : Hyderabad Delight Restaurant

We will be starting at  sharp 5:20 AM from the point.
Make sure you reach the point on time.

Reset the trip meter of the car before you start from the meetup point,  so that it will be easy to find each other easily.

Google maps location details of meetup point :  LINK

Section:2
Meet-up Point to Breakfast point

Breakfast expected time : 8~9AM

Hotel options :  ( We will stop over in either of the hotel depending on time)

Section :3

Breakfast point to lunch point

This is the longest section, we cover around 240 kilometres

We will fuel up once we cross Solapur

Lunch expected time: 2PM~3PM

Hotel options  :

  • Nisarg Family Restuarent Veg
  • Hotel Shivar non-veg
  • We can stop over at other hotels as well, since we have plenty of options on this section. Depending on timeline we can decide the place

Section: 4

Lunch point to Tea break ( before Pune)

We will be stopping for a tea break,  before entering the Pune City.
Random stopover at a decent  dhaba with washrooms

Section : 5

Tea point to Accommodation/Dinner point based on our progress.

We will take highway 48, to avoid Pune traffic

We will regroup just before the entrance of expressway.

We will be driving around 50 kilometres on Pune-Mumbai expressway.
There won't be any stopovers on this sections.

Plan  Day 2 :  Pune(Lonavala) to Tamhini and Mulshi

Breakfast:

We will start at 7AM from the accommodation.

If you can't wait till 9AM~10AM for breakfast (like me) :) , Carry few quick bites.
Breakfast is planned around 9AM~10AM

The drive from 7AM to 10AM is around 50 kilometres.
But it will take ~2 hours + since the routes that we are taking are scenic/less crowded (roads are bad)

If there are any road closures, we will be taking alternative routes, we may take more time to reach the breakfast point.

You wont find any signals on this route.

You have to download the offline google maps. We will share those details in the WhatsApp group.

Trek

After the breakfast, We will go on a 120 minutes trek to a waterfall( name unknown).
Proper permissions are taken from the officials.

Hyderabad to Hamsaladeevi Beach - A hidden Paradise

After a long wait for the December trip, we kick started our vacation to the most beautiful Hamsaladeevi beach located in the Krishna district, Andhra Pradesh.

Usually many of them skip this place due to lack of accommodation, but you will find a decent stay in Vijayawada which is around 80 kms approximately from Hamsaladeevi. It is definitely worth travelling so far to see the beauty of this Sagara Sangamam, where river Krishna meets the Bay of Bengal.

We started at an early hour from Hyderabad and reached Vijayawada by 10 AM and checked into the OYO hotel. There are no food joints available at Hamsaladeevi beach so we packed the lunch from the hotel and headed out. Vijayawada to Hamsaladeevi drive took us 3 hours with some breaks.

Hamsaladeevi village is 24 kms away from Avanigadda and we reached Hamsaladeevi by 3 PM. After a long drive from Hyderabad, there was an adrenaline rush gushing out to see this most beautiful place and couldn't wait to snap the sandy beach and the 'river-beach' meeting point. This point is 2 km away from the beach (From Hamsaladeevi village, beach is 4 kms) and we drove our car on the beach side shore to the port to see the confluence.

      Distance : 376 km
      Ride: Honda City
      Fuel : Petrol
      Mileage : 15 kmpl
Hotel : OYO rooms (2000/- per night)

      Hyderabad --> Suryapet --> Vijayawada -->Pedapulipaka --> Madduru --> Thotlavalluru --> Nimmagadda --> Avanigadda --> Nagayalanka --> Chodavaram --> Hamsaladeevi Beach

Note: Don't take any diversions from the mentioned route else you might end up between bad conditioned roads and longer distances as you pass
