Will be released in India?

I hope they will surely release this in India as this is their entry level Sedan. But, 1st will be SP2 concept production model which will mostly be released by the 2nd half of this year as per the news reports.

SP2 or Cerato ?

the older model pics of Cerato interiors mainly .. from front looks like a brother of Punto and from rear looks like a TATA..

.. the newer pic that you posted looks decent by the looks of it .. lets wait for the interiors..

Sp2 is kind of compact SUV is it not? correct me if i am wrong..

The newer version is already seen on the roads outside India and it looks much better. The interior quality so far is very premium and can't be compared to the Indian standards. But, you never know until the Indian version of this gets launched.

Yes, SP2 is supposedly said to compete against the Creta and but looks bigger than that which is almost as the new Compass on scale

Though Exterior is decent but interior sucks! Cant believe KIA is counter part of Hyundai who is famous for neat & upmarket interiors.

My observation from the above pics:-

Positives:-

1) Automatic IRVM

2) Little window in the A pillar opens up some view

3) A cruise control (though being a car guy, I like self control..?)

4) Sporty aluminum touch in the  ABC pedals

5) Plastic around the dash looks good to me but should be better

6) A dead pedal (though not a fan of dead pedal)

7) Dual 12V Charging point at the front, would love to see multi USB port with charging facility instead

8) Projector headlamps

9) Auto folding ORVM & hopefully integrated turner as well (can’t see it clearly)

10) Equipped with traction control, blind spot monitor!! Great KIA ?

Negatives:-

1) Dated interior looks too boring to my eyes

2) Passenger side request sensor is missing I guess.

May be that's why blind spot monitor is found in the car? Will the India Spec car continue to have such feature??

I am not sure about it's release in India :( especially the feature list after looking at the Indian car market except for the CKD launches in the country. It's pretty unpredictable

Hyderabad to Hamsaladeevi Beach - A hidden Paradise

After a long wait for the December trip, we kick started our vacation to the most beautiful Hamsaladeevi beach located in the Krishna district, Andhra Pradesh.

Usually many of them skip this place due to lack of accommodation, but you will find a decent stay in Vijayawada which is around 80 kms approximately from Hamsaladeevi. It is definitely worth travelling so far to see the beauty of this Sagara Sangamam, where river Krishna meets the Bay of Bengal.

We started at an early hour from Hyderabad and reached Vijayawada by 10 AM and checked into the OYO hotel. There are no food joints available at Hamsaladeevi beach so we packed the lunch from the hotel and headed out. Vijayawada to Hamsaladeevi drive took us 3 hours with some breaks.

Hamsaladeevi village is 24 kms away from Avanigadda and we reached Hamsaladeevi by 3 PM. After a long drive from Hyderabad, there was an adrenaline rush gushing out to see this most beautiful place and couldn't wait to snap the sandy beach and the 'river-beach' meeting point. This point is 2 km away from the beach (From Hamsaladeevi village, beach is 4 kms) and we drove our car on the beach side shore to the port to see the confluence.

      Distance : 376 km
      Ride: Honda City
      Fuel : Petrol
      Mileage : 15 kmpl
Hotel : OYO rooms (2000/- per night)

      Hyderabad --> Suryapet --> Vijayawada -->Pedapulipaka --> Madduru --> Thotlavalluru --> Nimmagadda --> Avanigadda --> Nagayalanka --> Chodavaram --> Hamsaladeevi Beach

Note: Don't take any diversions from the mentioned route else you might end up between bad conditioned roads and longer distances as you pass
