  1. Hyderabad – GottamGotta(Chincholi Wildlife Sanctuary) – Ethipothala Falls - Hyderabad Total Distance Covered: 260+ KMS Vehicle : Nissan Micra Fuel : Petrol One day Trip, Mumbai Highway Route expedition Via Google Maps Visited with family in Aug 2022 with family(Delayed post) Best time to visit: Right after the rainy season Started from Hyderabad(Attapur) to GottamGotta(Chincholi Wildlife Sanctuary) Via Ringroad until Patancheruvu. Joined the NH 65 and Visited “Shri Ganesh Devasthanam” temple. People believe that the wishes come true after darshan here.. Most of the people are doing pradakshanas here with a slip in there hands for counting the rounds(108)… As everyone does in Chilkur Balaji temple. Temple premises are neat and parking facility is also available. Started Towards gottamgotta after having breakfast at road side truck. It was a rainy day and weather was cool and cloudy. After getting down from the NH 65 at Zaheerabad, started towards the villages and the views are awesome, as it was rainy season.. muddy road and RED soil 😊 Views are awesome, was not expecting these kind of locations, for the photography definitely recommended. It was a wonderful experience to visit gottamgotta... which is inside chincholi wildlife sanctuary. We need to trek down a bit(20min) to visit the pond... the views are excellent.....very scenic...peaceful...adventurous... njoyable. ... with light rain drizzling around.... not crowded...with the help of Google maps reached the place without any issues... Few people were camping 🏕 down the hill near the lake... Note: Take food and water along with you... after crossing zaheerabad no proper food is available. After Spending good amount of time moved towards Ethipothala falls, which is 30mins from Gottamgotta. It was a single road and passed through small villages. Google maps working fine till destination 😉 It’s a single road, muddy… we will pass through different types of crops on both the sides. It was worthy visiting there, beautiful location with water falling from the rocks towards down. Yes, we have to get down a bit from the parking place through the slippery rocks. Just be careful 😊 Just see the pics down below, am out of words to describe the scenic location…. Note: Availability of food only after reaching the NH65, Better carry food and snacks, Have a Happy and safe Journey
  2. The covid19 pandemic is not over. We request travelers to follow SMS ‘Sanitizer Mask Social distancing’ The weather in Hyderabad added charm in atmosphere. We decided to explore Gottam gutta which was there in my Bucket list and pending for long time. Planning done, day decided (Friday as being less crowed). My companion in travel: Car Baleno Zeta CVT – reliable partner. Smartphone Poco f1 – all the photos were taken with it. And most importantly Home minister and leader of opposition (son). They rule the house and without them trip is impossible. Happiness is not a station you arrive at, but a manner of travelling Things to carry: Own food and water to avoid contact with outsider. Sun cream, sunglasses & Hats. Umbrella (due to rainy season). Trekking shoes (useful for trekking). Difficulty level: No problem for elders and kids. Care to be taken while trekking at Chincholi wildlife sanctuary. People with difficulty in breathing should avoid it. Road condition: Roads are good till Zaheerabad. After that it is mixed of good and bad road but manageable by car and bikes. Best time to visit: The monsoon is the best season to visit the place with family and tourists will not regret having chosen the destination. If you hate crowed and wants to enjoy peacefully then plan trip on weekdays. Introduction to Gottam gutta: People looking for adventure and Nature lovers can relax at the picturesque Gottam Gutta located on the Telangana-Karnataka border. Surrounded by forests and eddies of the Chandrampally dam on the Bhima River in Karnataka. The government of Karnataka built the project in the village of Chandrampally in Chincholi Taluka of the district of Gulbarga. Gottam Gutta Route Map: To reach gottam gutta there are two routes. One is a regular route through the village where the dam is also present; the name of the dam is Chandrampalli dam. Another route is through few small villages and a forest. Hyderabad > Sangareddy > Zaheerabad > Govindapur > Mogudampalli > Chincholi wildlife sanctuary > Gottam Gutta We took first route to reach dam and second route for return journey. 3. I did not travelled for three months and the traveller in side me is thirsty. Few plans to West Maharastra and Goa with friends did not materialised. I had also planned a trip to Chitrakote falls with family friends but they were afraid of travelling in Chattisgarh. It was late night of 27th July, 2018 Friday and I was desperate to go to some place. I asked my wife and son Shall we go to Chitrakote Waterfalls? They said yes. Rough route plan was with me. No bookings for night stay made. Got up early on 28-07-2018 Saturday and started from Home by 5.30 AM and reached Warangal by 7.30 AM. I know the route up to Eturunagaram before Bhogatha and I know very well that once we cross Warangal, it is difficult to get any food. So we had Breakfast at Hotel Ashoka, Hanmakonda, once my favorite. Entered in to Mulugu road (from here entire roads are 2 lane) by 8.30 AM. Our original thought was to come back in the same route from Chitrakote but it proved wrong. Initially we thought of seeing Bhogatha falls in return journey so as to reach Chitrakote early. By 10.30 we were at Bhogatha Falls cross road and its only 1 Km from there. We thought lets have a look without wasting much time. It proved to be good decision.

Evergreen County Team welcoming India - Drive Team: Exploring the Resort, It is a treat to eyes and nestled in to Nature! We have planned to explore Irupu falls after exploring the resort, we understood from the locals that there is a huge Tea Estate on our route to Irupu Falls, Couple of cars went ahead to check it out (Polo & Tiago) and we were the only one's to look at this beautiful View! We had to go back to the convoy with a bad news "Visitors are not allowed" We continued our drive towards Irupu Falls, One should not miss this falls in Monsoon! Reach the falls, close your eyes and surrender yourself to the Mother Nature!! ❤️ We have reached back to the resort by the time light faded and gone for the Nature walk around the Resort and had a wonderful time with India Drive Members introducing themselves at the Camp Fire session followed by delicious Dinner at the Resort Restaurant (Secret Spices, Rest O cafe)! After a Sumptuous Breakfast and an unforgettable Morning Coffee (Pictures Below) we checked out of the resort and headed towards our exploration drive towards Mandalpatti Peak (Heaven, I call this after exploring the place). We came across a Landslide en route Mandalpatti and we could not take our cars any further, for a moment it was a disappointment but that's when we got to know from the locals that we have to hire 4x4 vehicles to be able to reach Mandalpatti Peak. Without wasting any time, we parked our cars, hired those beasts and started enjoying some pure off roading fun and reached the Heaven!! We have spent considerable amount of time exploring the place with literally zero visibility and clicking pictures. We have reached the car parking location back by about 5 pm with a super Maggi break (Special Thanks to our Instant Chef Bhargav) and started our drive back too Mysore! Like all the other Drives, we had to end this Drive too wishing if we could have continued it for another Infinite number of days!! Aideu from Sridhar Tandra until next Drive Meet!!❤️❤️
