  2. I am planning to go on a road trip from Hyderabad to Goa in the first week of December. I will be driving my 2011 Nissan Micra XV (Petrol). I have a 2 year old baby traveling with me. Need some sugesstions -What is the best route? - Will a small car like Micra be safe to take for such a distance? - Can i do non-stop or should i take a halt? - Is it safe to start late at night from Hyderbad, considering that i am traveling with family? Your inputs will be very helpful.

  5. This is exactly what we needed brother, thanks for the detailed write up. We are leaving for Goa tonight, at around 3 AM, and this gives us a better picture of the journey ahead. We're also travelling with kids, couple of 2 year olds 😀 We're travelling to South Goa, so I am assuming that the route through Mollem should be good. Do suggest any other tips if you have.

  19. Straigth through seoni. If you go in morning there won't be many and Forest guards will let you go. I didn't find it 3-4 KM - or may be I was too happy to see quick pass through but it didn't take us more than 10-15 mins to go through that stretch.

  20. I did my road trip hyd-rpr yesterday and thanks to everyone who sugggested Hyderabad - Adilabad - Nagpur - Raipur. End to end distance was 820 kms with around ~20 kms bad road/patch and lot of traffic between nagpur and raipur. If you’re trying to do this trip - leave at 04:00 am and you can reach home by 07:00 pm.

  21. Thanks for sharing. Did you take diversion to katangi to reach seoni or went straight to seoni through road where work is in progress. From other posts, that construction stretch is of 3-4km. Is it now reduced to 1km ?

  23. Onward Journey road details: 1> Hyderbad to Nagpur - would rate it 9/10... 2-3 spots post Adilabad it had some constructions going on, rest of the road is excellent. 2> Nagpur Bypass - the traffic is a bit slow, road conditions are good but the traffic distribution across that stretch is what that brings down the drive to a below average speed. Rating- 7/10 3> Nagpur to Raipur - This is where is closed my Day-1 trip . Again road conditions are excellent till Rajnandgaon. Post that lot of constructions work and road conditions are bad, especially aroudn the reside

  24. KORAPUT is a part of south orissa and it is basically a hill town. It is abasically a tribal area but has developed into a decent town with all modern facilities. Not only KORAPUT but its surroundig areas like JEYPORE,SUNABEDA, MALKANGIRI,DAMANJODI,RAYAGADA are very very decent towns. This south orissa is full of DENSE FOREST, MOUNTAINS ,DENSE FOREST etc ....The SOUTH ORISSA trip itself is a full itnery . There are many water falls .....small montaiin rivers along the way ..... If we see GOOGLE MAP the stretch BHADRACHALAM-MALKANGIRI-KORAPUT-RAYAGADA-ADAVA-MOHNA-DIGAPAHANDI is 581
