  1. Recent Trip on Sep2020, I joined as a 12th men to this trip, 2 cars Polo and XUV 300 with 6 ppl, Road conditions was worst when we took detour towards Nandi hills, better to continue till the Bangalore Airport rd and the connecting road to Hassan, you wont regret only u have to drove 100kms etc compare to Annathapur-Challakere-Chikmaglur. Note: Book you Homestays before starting from Hyderabad. This thing costed us a stress and time, as i already mentioned i was a 12th man for this trip๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Nothing can beat that. Make sure you always have a dash cam prefixed in your car and also a gimble to handle record seem less footages while you do treks to reach some view points. You sure are hitting the right spot and weโ€™re all in to support you in reaching your goals. Waiting for your vlogs... Keep sharing and cheers!

  7. Excellent pictures and amazing details @mit1682... You have covered all the necessary details required for a day trip to these places.. There are a few places as such in Kerala too where people cross these water flowing streams by car on a daily basis.. Looks super risky to us though.. You are making full use of this Pandemic time and I am jealous for not being around Pune especially during the monsoon time this year ๐Ÿ˜… Cheers buddy.. Looking forward to witness a many more off beat travel destinations in the western ghats region ๐Ÿ™‚

  10. Nothing can beat the combination of Chikmagalur and Monsoon. Fantastic pictures, eye pleasing. How is the road, once you divert from 4-lane highway? How is the tourist crowd?

  21. Agree on it, white lights + fog is a bad combo. But around Hyderabad, it should be fine. If one is staying in hilly regions, it should be a major concern. Most of the luxury cars like BMW etc, now have led fog lamp which is white in colour.

  22. hey Sagar... thanks for the info.... from your reply it looks like you mean i will have an average speed of 50-55 kmph max for the whole distance and all stretches covering from Hyderabad till Rourkela.... Are the road conditions so bad that one can only make this average speed throughout ??

  24. If you start early in the morning, you can cover all the three places in a single day. Start 5AM in the morning. Early morning trek is too good in monsoon.
